Good news for old souls and fans who enjoy listening to music through vinyl players! Some of the biggest names in the music industry are releasing exclusive vinyl records for this year's Record Store Day; who will be included, and when is it available for purchase?

According to Rolling Stone, Taylor Swift is the global ambassador of Record Store Day. The singer will release the limited edition of the "Portraits of Her" compilation.

In addition, a seven-inch single of "The Lakes" from "Folklore" is will also be available for purchase.

Aside from Swift, Dave Grohl's "Foo Fighters" will be dropping a seven-inch single including "Re-Versions" of "Medicine at Midnight."

The rock legend will also feature their collaboration with Mark Ronson, the Dap-Kings, Preservation Jazz Hall Band, and many more.

Famed 80s band "U2" is set to drop a re-issue of their 1982 track "A Celebration," along with a 40th anniversary and B-side of "Trash, Trampoline, and the Party GIrl."

Rock legend Stevie Nicks is also included in the lineup to release "Bella Donna," which will feature B-sides and outtakes.

On the hard rock genre for the record store day, the renowned band "The Rolling Stones" will re-issue their "More Hot Rocks (Big Hits and Fazed Cookies)" to commemorate its 50th anniversary. The vinyl is a limited edition and glow-in-the-dark.

Other exclusive vinyl by singers include Kacey Musgraves' "Star-Crossed." Childish Gambino's first vinyl pressing of the "Kauai" EP will also be available.

Fans may check out the complete lineup of artists on Record Store Day's website. The event will be on April 23, and exclusive vinyl records are available through participating record stores.

Supporters may also check out the "Participating Store Search" to locate shops that carry exclusive records throughout the United States.

Taylor Swift as Record Store Day's Global Ambassador

In early reports, the "All Too Well" hitmaker issued a statement about being RSD's global ambassador, saying she's very proud of the opportunity.

"Record stores are so important because they help to perpetuate and foster music-loving as a passion. They create settings for live events. They employ people who adore music thoroughly and purely," the singer added. (via Billboard)

The "I Knew You Were Trouble" songstress is also happy to see vinyl sales increase throughout recent years, and she thanks fans for this "pleasant surprise."
