Another piece of history is up for sale as Bob Dylan's original handwritten lyrics for the songs "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Mr. Tambourine Man" are being sold for a whopping price.

According to Popculture, both lyric sheets were sold to a collector by the singer's team.

The "Like a Rolling Stone" sheet is priced at $1,375,000. On the other hand, the "Mr. Tambourine Man" document costs $425,000.

This isn't the first time the manuscript has been sold, as the first manuscript was purchased for $2.045 million in 2014.

Sotheby, the auction house that initially got the sheet, said it was the only known surviving draft of the song's final lyrics.

Dylan wrote the lyrics at the Roger Smith Hotel in Washington D.C.

The auction house said the seller is a longtime fan of the singer from California "who met his hero in a non-rock context and bought directly from Dylan."
