Olivia O'Brien dispels misconceptions regarding her dating past but confirms that indeed, she and Pete Davidson had a history. It did not end well, since she can be said to have been dumped...just over a text.

Even though it is apparent that she tried to keep this tidbit to herself, and was promptly shocked to be asked about it, the "hate u luv u" singer was quite generous in answering questions about her Pete Davidson dating past.

After Dave Portnoy placed her in the hot seat on the BFFs with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Brianna Chickenfry podcast, the "Josslyn" singer admitted that she and Pete Davidson had a history.

Portnoy asked his podcast guest what was going on between her and Davidson, which stunned his guest. "Where did you hear that? How did you hear that?" she asked, before he read an unverified DeuxMoi submission saying Pete "ended things with B-list popstar/influencer he had been seeing beforehand for phoebe."

It would appear that O'Brien is the "B-list popstar/influencer" in question.

O'Brien revealed she dated the "Saturday Night Live" star in October 2020, adding that their relationship was kept secret and she did not believe "nobody knew about that."

The artist also was no longer reluctant to reveal how Davidson broke things off. "He texted me and was like, 'I'm seeing someone else," she said, "'So, like, I can't.'"

Olivia has no hard feelings against Pete, stating that their breakup occurred "a long time ago" and that she considers him a decent guy anyway. She added funny and sweet as her descriptors for the guy now dating Kim Kardashian.

Meanwhile, Davidson and Phoebe Bridgers were first linked in March 2021, before making their relationship public in July by attending Wimbledon. In August, after approximately five months together, they separated

He eventually moved on with Kim Kardashian, whom he began dating in October 2021, after she hosted "Saturday Night Live."

The relationship between the two remains strong.

Recently, the comedian had the opportunity to make jokes on the reality show of all reality shows: "The Kardashians."

Pete Davidson's debut on "The Kardashians" was marked by an offensive joke.

In a post-credits sequence, the "Saturday Night Live" alum could be heard speaking with Kim Kardashian off-screen as she introduced him to her audio editor. Fans were privy to their adorable conversation

"Pete, come here, you have to meet Paxy. Paxy has worked with me as audio [for] 14 years from 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians.' She knows everything about me. She's probably seen my vagina," Kardashian, 41, said in one of the confessional chair sessions during the Hulu show's season finale Thursday.

Davidson, age 28, said cheekily, "More than me?"

"Not more than you," the founder of Skims and the ex of Kanye West, answered with a broad grin on her face, obviously amused.
