Gene Simmons spoke candidly about not having friends - including his KISS bandmates.

Simmons has been performing together in KISS since the band's debut in 1973. Its long history allowed the members to meet new people in the industry.

Despite having the connection, Simmons recently revealed that he has no friends.

In his interview with Goldmine for the music magazine's latest issue, the bass guitarist opened up about not having friends at all. He also talked about Stanley and how he is the only friend he has.

"Even today as I sit here, other than Paul (Stanley), and we only get together when we do stuff for the band... How do I say this without sounding inhuman? I don't have friends. If friends means, 'Gee, I don't know what I'm going to do this afternoon. Hey, you want to come over and hang out?'" he said, as quoted by Loudwire.

Simmons added that he is more focused on the things he wants to do and that he refuses to pretend he is interested in other people's works.

He and KISS are currently on their farewell tour. Despite that, he is open to seeing a younger group to follow in their footsteps and put similar makeup on.

Still, they are not reportedly closing the doors fully, as the band might continue in the ways no one knows yet.

While doing his music work, Simmons also expanded his business by partnering with Minhas Distillery and Brewery in Monroe to create the MoneyBag Vodka.

The distillery recently released the 10-times distilled vodka at Green County Cheese Days. Simmons was present during the Saturday event to join the celebration.

Per Minhas, it started the partnership after a friend connected the company with the rocker.

According to Simmons, he wrote the song with his school chum, Stephen Parnell. At that time, he reportedly wrote a letter "I think I'm going blind," helping him create the song.
