King Combs is no stranger to the music scene, he is after all the son of the music mogul P. Diddy, and he is slowly but surely making his way into the charts and everyone's music playlists.

Combs, born Christian Combs, first signed with Bad Boy Records in 2016 and was instantly integrated into the hip-hop scene. By the following year, he was already collaborating with DJ Khaled and Smooky MarGielaa.

However, his recent performances at Rolling Loud Music Festival and iHeartRadio Music Festival and the success of his recent release, "Can't Stop, Won't Stop," featuring Kodak Black were what made people pay a lot more attention.

Making His Father Proud

"Can't Stop, Won't Stop" is an appetizer of what's to come from the young rapper. In an interview with DJ Carisma at Power 106 FM, Combs teased fans that he won't be sharing many details about his debut studio album.

Among the fans who cannot wait for its release is his own father, P. Diddy. The music mogul gave all his support to his son following a series of pictures Combs posted on Instagram of himself performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

"I'm so proud of you, baby boy. Keep going. Keep working [on] this record until it's a classic. You got one, kid! Love, love, love!" Diddy commented, adding a bunch of clapping emojis.

"I'm truly blessed to be performing with my son tonight in Vegas at the [iHeartRadio Music Festival]. Other times I let him come on stage because he's my son. Now he's coming on stage because he's hot enough to share the stage with me," Diddy continued.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to [King Combs]. Meet us in Vegas! We can show you way better than we can tell you! #CombsDynasty"

'No Plan B'

The 24-year-old rapper shared that becoming a rapper and following in his father's footsteps was a no-brainer.

"It's really always been something I wanted to do," he told People Magazine. "There have been times when my dad questioned me and asked, 'What's your plan B? Are you sure you want to do this?' and I'm like, 'There is no plan B.' "

Despite making and releasing music for quite some time now, "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" is an extra-special song, as it climbing the charts.

"It's definitely a dream coming true for me, and it's a great feeling to have the fans and people out there gravitate to a song that I made in the studio," he said.

When asked about the success of the song, he shared that the audience's response was unexpected, "I knew when I was putting it out that it was super hard, and it was one of my favorites ever, but I didn't know it was going to go up-up like that because almost all the songs I put out I really love them and believe in."
