Coolio, a famous rapper, died, shocking both his friends and fans.

This is due to the fact that when they last interacted with the "Gangsta's Paradise" artist, they said he made no mention of any health problems.

The 59-year-old rapper from Pennsylvania flew through Houston airport on Friday, according to images acquired by TMZ, and was claimed to be in a good mood as he greeted enthusiastic admirers.

The person who confronted the rapper in the airport, Mika, told TMZ that she had only approached him to take a picture.

She remembered the encounter with Coolio, who was amiable and eager to snap photographs. He appeared to be quite personable and was joking with people.

Mika and her friends were even asked by Coolio to attend his concert in Cypress, Texas, and they exchanged phone numbers and texts. All the women were added to the VIP guest list by the rapper.

Although it was an hour away from where they were staying in Houston, the enthusiastic fan said that she and her pals ultimately decided against attending the performance.

They are all now sad that they were unable to attend what turned out to be Coolio's final live concert.

His final performance was on Friday during Vanilla Ice's Texas show.

The news that the "C U When You Get There" rapper had passed on that afternoonat a friend's house in Los Angeles was also first reported by the outlet on Wednesday.

The rapper went to use the restroom at a friend's house, according to his longtime manager Jarez, but when he didn't return for a while, the buddy phoned and ultimately walked in.
