The highly anticipated new album "Midnights" by Taylor Swift has been released, and Swifties have wasted no time poring over the lyrics and references to discover the hidden meanings behind the catchy songs - perhaps to find out if she has anything scathing to say against Kim Kardashian?

From her Instagram posts to her album art, her lyrics to her tweets, every new bit of information released by Taylor is swiftly analyzed by her followers to determine its "deeper" meaning. And "Midnights" is the same.

The album is filled with themes of karma, vengeance, and eternal love, and fans believe they have identified which tracks are about her famous ex-boyfriends, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Swifties believe they have also detected references to Taylor's past relationships with Scooter Braun and Harry Styles. But other from releasing the album on Kim Kardashian's birthday, references the ex-wife of her so-called nemesis Kanye West, are scarce, as if the musician deemed the reality star unworthy of being sung about.

In the song "Karma" for example, some fans believe it will be the perfect song for Swift to rant about Kardashian. But now some are saying that the song is instead, about her fight with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta over her masters.

The same goes with "Vigilante S**t." In this song, Taylor sings about getting "as close as thieves" with the ex-wife of an enemy, and Swifties have gone wild attempting to determine who she is referring to. Others are adamant that the song is about Scooter Braun's ex-wife, Yael Cohen, and not Kim Kardashian's divorce from Kanye West. But there's no denying Swift was once hurt by Kardashian.

During the opening night of her "Reputation" Stadium Tour in Glendale, Arizona, the 32-year-old singer shared with her audience an intimate moment about a difficult time "a couple of years ago" while referencing her feud with Kim Kardashian West.

She said someone dubbed her a snake on social media, and it caught on," she said to the University of Phoenix Stadium's record-breaking audience. She said then many individuals insulted her on social media, and she went through a period of extreme depression as a result.

According to Pitchfork magazine"Midnights" focuses on reflection rather than reinvention for the singer.

Taylor Swift has elaborated on this in her own flowery language, stating that these thirteen tracks are a compilation of music made in the middle of the night, a voyage through nightmares and lovely dreams.
The thoughts that keep the 32-year-old songwriter awake at night are the ones she's spent nine albums excavating: the unpredictable rise and devastating fall of romance; the dichotomy of the "good girl" and the "bad girl" and the chafing of societal expectation (that "1950s shit"); and the uneasy acceptance of her own fallibility.

So it's probably not that surprising she'd rather not sing about Kim Kardashian when she caused her hurt.
