Still got no plans for the upcoming Halloween weekend? A trip to Broadway is always a fool-proof alternative!

Fundamentally, theatre always provides an escape for the public - how a 2-hour show could transport you to a whole different dimension is a trick many tried to decode but still failed to give out some pretty solid answers.

Halloween 2022 is unlike any other season on Broadway as it packs by far one of the most shows that are not just spooktacular for the whole family but also for those who just want to feel the magic of live theatre while being scared at the same time.

Halloween New York Shows 2022 You Could Watch

Beetlejuice

Just from the name alone, you know it would be a wild ride! Take a trip to the Netherworld with Beetlejuice as The Marquis Theatre continues to deliver its heart-racing numbers and elaborate skeleton production numbers. Halloween is a good day to see the show, especially since the production is taking its final curtain call on Jan. 8, 2022. Check out this link for ticket information.

Hadestown

If the Netherworld doesn't fancy you, why not take a trip to the underworld? The 2019 Tony-winning musical is still taking passengers down to the river Styx. Join Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada as they still play Orpheus and Eurydice in the retelling of Greek mythology's highly beloved stories to date. Check out if there are still available tickets here.

Little Shop of Horrors

Need we say more? If you want to see a large "harmless" Venus fly trap, or some would call, Audrey II, then head over to the West Side Theatre, off-Broadway, to see Seymour played by Rob McLure and Lena Hall as Audrey on the classic horror show. Tickets start at $69!

Phantom of the Opera

Looking for a more sophisticated show? Then "Phantom of the Opera" might be the one. Better grab those tickets fast, as the show will finally drop its last chandelier next year after a long stint at the Majestic theatre for more than three decades.

MJ: The Musical

According to Broadway World, "MJ" will be performing a "thrilling, never-before-seen, one-night-only finale performance" with Tony Best Actor Myles Frost this coming Halloween of 2022. Better check out those tickets, as all guests are encouraged to come in with their best costume for a "thriller" Halloween party!
