Ed Sheeran has just teased a new album that fans can be expecting in the year 2023.
The music industry's favorite British ginger has dropped fans a teaser that they will be dissecting for weeks on end. There has been a short spell of radio silence when it comes to the Don't singer. He released an album back in 2021. However, that album is still achieving amazing things. One of the most popular tracks, Shivers, has just reached one billion streams on Spotify. In response to the success of this track from his album Equals, the star has elected to recognize fans by teasing another.
The star took to Instagram to share the good news. He said:
"So 'Shivers' has just hit a billion streams on Spotify, which makes it my 11th song as an artist and 15th song as a writer... I'm over the moon about it, thank you everyone who's been streaming that song...I'm gonna celebrate by shooting a music video for my brand new album, which will be out next year."
This announcement was made as Sheeran stood on the set for this new music video. Of course, he did not give fans any other information to cling onto at this time. Obviously, that means the obsession surrounding all of this thrilling news will be even greater.
