Shakira has all that she needs now that she has won custody of her two children, and she is not afraid to cut off some loose ends this time around.
Recent news revealed that Shakira and Pique finally reached an agreement regarding the custody of their sons, Milan and Sasha; but more recent reports revealed something more surprising.
The Colombian native has reportedly cut off ties with her ex-mother-in-law. According to Marca, Shakira was seen ignoring her as well as Pique's new flame, Clara Chia Marti, during Milan's basketball game.
The publication noted that the singer and her former mother-in-law used to be quite close, however, perhaps recent developments in her complicated relationship-or lack thereof-with Pique might have muddied the waters a bit.
Several reports cited Pique's mother as Shakira's "last ally" in the football player's family. It seems like Shakira is starting anew, and doing away with anyone from the Pique family.
Custody Battle
According to ABC News, Shakira will be moving her sons to Miami in January. The ex-couple came to a conclusion about their tricky custody setup.
The agreement between the two came after a 12-hour discussion, which ultimately led to them selling their old love nest in Barcelona, Pique being granted 10 days a month, including holidays, to see the children.
A statement obtained by the news channel reads: "We have signed a custody agreement. Our sole objective is to provide our children with the utmost security and protection and hope that they can continue with their lives in a safe and calm environment."
The Middle Finger
Shakira's messy and publicized split from the football player has finally reached its end.
However, that does not mean that they won't be seeing each other around often. Especially not with their signed agreement that their sons will be spending time with both parents each month.
Their sons' game events will still see the ex-couple together for a short while, and in fact, it happened recently.
During one of Milan's ball games, Shakira and Pique were reportedly seen supporting their son. Cameras caught the singer flashing her ex the middle finger.
A Spanish program called "Socialite" shared the video and commented on the video: "There is no room for doubt. We see how Shakira raises her finger to make an obscene sign and everything indicates that it is directed at her ex, who is on the field at the time."
As of this writing, Shakira did not comment on the report, and Pique did not release any statement or reaction to his ex's action seemingly directed towards him.
