Coolio's last known interview reportedly happen in a very unconventional location.

According to Billboard, the rapper was discovered lounging at an airport departure gate on a whim by a podcast presenter as the rapper was waiting for his flight.

PJ Vogt, host of "Crypto Island" show, talked about his amazement at finding the "Gangsta's Paradise" singer, who had the "incandescent shine," seated at the New York airport's John F. Kennedy gate in a casual manner.

Coolio, whose actual name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr., sported a green tracksuit and a baseball cap with two slot cuts on top to accommodate his distinctive braids.

When PJ asked him to introduce himself and Grant, a young passenger the rapper had become friends with, he was kind.

Coolio said he had looked into cryptocurrency as he was waiting to catch his aircraft to Copenhagen, adding that he was "heavily involved" in the "metaverse."

In the event that the internet were to fail or an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) were to be dropped on the whole planet and there was no electricity, I would have a lovely swath of land in the metaverse.

Given the enormous amount of energy required to run cryptocurrency, the podcast host questioned Coolio about the climate situation and what he felt about it.

The "C U When You Get There" stated, "I'm not that worried about it," in a raspy voice. I'll be long gone by the time it becomes a significant issue.

Although Coolio admitted to having a lot of "other things" to worry about and that he grasped the gravity of the threat posed by global warming and increasing sea levels, the end of the world was not high on his list of concerns.

They also talked about Coolio's claim to have knowledge of a "continent that they're keeping from us."

He informed PJ that Coolio had said that if he ventured 50 miles into the Antarctic Ocean by any method, the military may order him to turn around or shoot him.
