Many are highly aware that Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas have a significantly younger brother, Franklin Jonas, who has not been into music-until now.

Franklin began his career as a child actor and was generally simply known as the "Bonus Jonas" by fans since he never really participated in or with the group.

However, he is now stepping out of the shadows to make a name for himself in the music industry.

According to reports, the 22-year-old just released his debut song "Cocaine" which is more on the controversial side in contrast to the Jonas Brothers' music.

"It's the point where you become nostalgic for the bad times because even the bad times had good distractions," he explained in a statement.

He has been candid about his substance abuse and mental health, which were portrayed in the new song.

"From a very young age, I struggled with drinking and drugging as an escape because I hated life, and I didn't want to be here."

Thankfully, Franklin managed to turn his life around because if he hadn't fans wouldn't be graced with the chill ballad.

"Something intervened, and my life was saved. I went to treatment, and it saved me. I couldn't be more grateful for the fact that I'm alive today because my world has changed so beautifully and so astronomically, and I am not that person anymore. I couldn't be more grateful that I'm alive and happy."

The newly released song is accompanied by a music video that shows Franklin having flashbacks of his love interest while they embark on a road trip.
