At the State Farm Stadium in Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, the nine-time Grammy Award winner stroked her tummy in front of millions of spectators, sending her fans into a frenzy.
Following the conclusion of the "Diamonds" singer's performance, a spokeswoman for her also verified the baby news.
Rihanna's Super Bowl LVII performance will be her first live TV appearance since she and DJ Khaled sang together at the Grammy Awards in 2018.

The Fenty Beauty founder appeared in an interview in the days preceding Super Bowl LVII. For the studio sit-down interview, she donned a huge leather jacket with a fur lining that covered her whole upper body.
Rihanna appeared to take many positions while seated across from Michael Strahan in an effort to hide any indications of her growing belly.
The "Disturbia" singer also displayed what appeared to be her post-baby curves on Thursday when she attended a press conference.

Rihanna attended the event on the same day as her appearance with Michael, and she wore a deconstructed leather outfit that highlighted her cleavage and a thigh-slit skirt that highlighted her long legs.
She also mentioned in the interview at the time that the "Rude Boy" singer felt "ready" to perform on the Super Bowl halftime stage despite not having performed live for years.
"When I got the call again to do it this year, I was like, 'You sure? I'm three months post-pregnant. I'm not sure I should be making decisions like this.'"
