Lisa Marie Presley's "haunted" final days have been revisited nearly two months after her death.

Following Presley's death, more spotlights have been put on her life as queries about her life and final days surfaced. Rolling Stone posted one of the reports, in which the magazine detailed the haunted life the singer-songwriter had.

Rolling Stone mentioned David Kessler, Presley's longtime friend and a Los Angeles-based grief specialist, who met her days before her passing. In the wee hours of Jan. 8, he reportedly received a knock on his door, finding the crooner outside who asked him to come with her to visit Elvis Presley and her late son, Ben, in Graceland.

Every Jan. 8 of each year, Presley always remembered the King of Rock and Roll and marked his birthday.

Presley lost her father in 1977 when she was nine. Meanwhile, her son died in the summer of 2020, and the tragedy led her to meet Kessler.

When they arrived at the Meditation Garden, where the remains of Elvis, his parents, and Ben rest, Presley reportedly told Kessler she would be right next to her son someday. She, however, clarified that it would not happen anytime soon.

"No, no - it's going to be a long time," she told him. "I really want to do things. I have a lot more to do."

However, Presley came back to the Meditation soon, as her loved ones laid her to rest after her untimely death.

While her final days were tragic enough, more close friends of Presley revealed how she also endured a lifetime worth of struggles.

In 2003, Presley herself looked back at those times she did drugs and discovered Scientology, telling Rolling Stone that she did drugs from 13 to 17. This led Priscilla Presley to kick her out of the house and admit her to a Scientology center.

Soon, she asked Jerry Schilling for a job, leading him to hire her as an assistant in his management office when she was 19.

However, Elvis' fan club president leaked the news about it, leading paparazzi to flock outside the building. Even after the "Can't Help Falling in Love" crooner's death, the public fixed their eyes on her.

Presley's struggles did not stop there. She soon met Michael Jackson and married him in 1994, 20 days after she divorced Danny Keough. Their relationship was not smooth sailing, and she had to give the King of Pop an ultimatum and made him pick between her or drugs.

She filed for divorce in 1996. According to Presley, her split from Jackson was "the worst, most stressful time in my f**king life."

Lisa Marie Presley's struggles continued thereafter, facing personal, financial, and health issues before her death.
