Lyndie, Kenny G's ex-wife, accused the Grammy-winning saxophonist of purposely concealing his large income only days before he requested for his $40,000 monthly spousal payments to be terminated.
Lyndie accuses Kenny of playing games to reduce his financial commitments to her in court documents acquired by Radar Online.
Kenny G hurried to court last week, begging with the judge to cut off his ex-wife owing to decreasing income.
Kenny and his second wife, Lyndie, split in 2013 after 21 years of marriage. They have two children.
In a new petition, the 65-year-old musician's lawyer stated that he has paid almost $4 million in spousal support over the previous nine years. Regrettably, he is unable to continue making the payments.
According to the Daily Mail, his counsel stated that "over the previous 2-3 years Kenny's touring possibilities, where he makes the most revenue, have not only reduced but his share of earnings from the tours has also declined."
They said that Kenny G's income has been decreasing since 2018, and that "Lyndie is 57 years old and, as far as Kenny knows, in good health."
Days before the artist's filing, his ex-wife reportedly chastised him for allegedly failing to disclose all needed financial declarations.
She suspected the musician was withholding the records because he was afraid Lyndie would seek an increase in spousal support and/or contempt orders against him.
Lyndie attempted a private resolution despite Kenny's assertion that he had ceased paying her since 2022.
"Kenny was participating in abusive litigation technique is bad enough," she stated in her court filing, "but it is made significantly worse when one considers that he was concurrently lying about, and obfuscating his real income in conjunction with various Income and Expenditure Declarations."
