As part of the Enjoy Illinois 300 Presented by TicketSmarter race weekend, the Confluence Music Festival will take place from June 2-4, 2023, at the World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison as part of the Enjoy Illinois 300.

It was previously revealed that Dierks Bentley, a 14-time Grammy nominee, will headline this year's event, performing a full set in what will be his sole visit in St. Louis this year.

Officials of the festival revealed on Tuesday that he will be joined by five-time Grammy nominee Flo Rida, whose 2007 breakthrough single "Low" achieved No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for more than 10 weeks and lasted in the Top 10 for 20 weeks.

More than 80 million recordings have been sold by the 43-year-old rapper, singer, and composer, making him one of the best-selling musicians. "Right Round," "Club Can't Handle Me," "Good Feeling," "Wild Ones," and "My House" are among his most popular songs.

Curtis Francois, Owner and CEO of World Wide Technology Raceway, exclaimed that they are ecstatic to provide racing fans with an exceptional second-year experience as they return to the track.

He said that there exist so much to celebrate, and live music entertainment is a key component of its strategy to attract and delight Enjoy Illinois 300 guests.

On Tuesday, further Confluence Music Festival performers were announced, the complete list of which is here.

Flo Rida's year has been pretty successful.

In January, the rapper won a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Celsius, an American energy drink brand.

Flo Rida and his company, Strong Arm Productions, filed the initial action against Celsius in early 2021, alleging breach of contract and unpaid remuneration for an endorsement deal inked with the musician in 2014 and renewed in 2016.

This week, as reported by the Law & Crime Network on January 18th, a Florida jury awarded Flo Rida (Tramar Dillard) $82.6 million in damages.

The world-famous rapper and singer Flo Rida recently made a visit to the University of Miami Coral Gables Campus to chat with students about his career.

The talk was part of the College of Arts and Sciences' Judge-in-Residence program at the University of Miami, and was mediated by Miami Circuit Court Judge Ellen Sue Venzer.

The program aims to demonstrate how the United States legal system affects our lives, jobs, and ideals and to prepare students for active citizenship through seminar-style courses, University-wide lectures, and structured conversations with famous professionals.

During the discussion, Venzer inquired about Flo Rida's experiences with racial identity and implicit bias in the music industry and South Florida neighborhood. He answered that his upbringing in Miami was extremely diverse but he was not that affected because diversity was accepted.

Venzer also inquired about the rapper's early career and a moment when he "didn't feel seen" by others.

Flo Rida remembers being a timid seventh-grader in speech and debate. However, despite his reserved attitude, he was a vocal and involved student. The instructor urged him to quit basketball and join the speech and debate team. This shift, he claimed, helped him emerge from his shell.

The local celebrity thanked his speech and debate instructor, who instilled in him the confidence to argue for himself and made him feel valued at a young age.

After the formal debate, students had the opportunity to pose questions to the rapper. There were questions regarding mental health and whether record labels promote social change. Flo Rida said that he prioritizes his mental wellness with discipline and reading.

Flo Rida discussed how record labels may do more to support social change and diversity in response to a query. The musician emphasized that it is a great time in the music industry since everyone has a platform, allowing for collaboration that generates the synergy that makes social change and diversity more effective.

Flo Rida has, on numerous occasions, emphasized the significance of his mother in his upbringing and the formation of his principles. She taught him at a young age to "treasure each moment because it can be taken away at any moment."
