RATT member Stephen Pearcy became the latest musician to side with Mick Mars amid his lawsuit against Motley Crue.

More singers and musicians have been coming forward to defend Mars after Motley Crue allegedly gaslighted and kicked him out of the band, although he only decided to retire from touring. The co-founding member shared the news in October, saying that he decided to have time off due to his worsening health issues.

Mars then filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court, but Motley Crue members dismissed his claims instead.

Stephen Pearcy Weighs in on Mick Mars' Current Legal Battle

In an interview with Waste Some Time With Jason Green, Pearcy opened up about the Motley Crue and Nikki Sixx's comments about former band member Carmine Appice.

For what it's worth, the legendary drummer told Ultimate Guitar that Mars told him he was not happy during Motley Crue's The Stadium Tour. He revealed that the setlist was on tape and prepared pre-recorded songs instead, something Mars did not like.

"Carmine was very close to everybody, and closer to Mick Mars. So unbeknownst to me too," he said. "I mean, look, I knew they did some of that tape stuff back a bit, but I didn't know it was so overblown, which is crazy. I just didn't like the disrespect. And you know what? I could give a sh*t, man."

Pearcy then said that Motley Crue just disrespected Mars, adding that he felt dismayed at the comment.

Motley Crue Had Been Trying To Get Rid of Mick Mars

The RATT member shared a shocking detail about the band trying to replace Mars with Jake E. Lee from his band, Mickey Ratt.

Upon learning about it, Pearcy questioned Motley Crue's attempt and said it got Mars right there. He noted that the band was trying to cast their guitarist while Mickey Ratt is still active.

On the other hand, Def Leppard Phil Collen recently approved of Motley Crue's move in replacing Mars with John 5. The latter guitarist started playing with the band after Mars' retirement announcement.

Collen told Linea Rock that adding John 5 to the band because of Mars' health issues was great.

Amid Mars' lawsuit, Sixx, John 5, and drummer Tommy Lee all shared photos on their respective social media accounts to reveal that they started collaborating with producer Bob Rock again.
