Every major city around the world struggled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When everything got back to normal, it wasn't easy for some areas to recover, especially in terms of tourism.

Luckily for Las Vegas, Nevada, Taylor Swift came to save the day as her "The Eras" tour boosted the tourism of the city; how did she do it?

According to Bloomberg, the pop star's current tour was able to bring thousands of guests from different locations just to see her perform in the city.

Earlier this year, the "Reputation" songstress announced her concert at the Allegiant Stadium, making her the first female artist ever to headline at the renowned venue.

At the time of the announcement, weekend hotel occupancy immediately rose to 94.5%, which is the highest recorded number since February 2020, weeks before the world shut down and people were forced to stay at home due to the virus.

In addition, the first three months of the year also saw over 10 million people visiting Las Vegas. Its highest record was in 2016 with a total of 42.9 million for the entire year.

As of this writing, Taylor Swift has yet to react to the matter.

Taylor Swift Makes 'High Infidelity' Trending on Twitter

The recent news comes after Taylor Swift's song "High Infidelity" became a trending topic on Twitter as many fans requested the pop star sing it at her Mercedes-Benz Stadium concert in Atlanta, Georgia, last April 29.

The song is from the "3am Edition" version of her latest album "Midnights" and it immediately became a crowd favorite upon its release last year.

One of the main reasons why Swifties wanted to hear it on the day was because the pop star famously asked if they wanted to know what happened on the said date.

Taylor Swift didn't disappoint as she finally performed "High Infidelity" during her concert which made fans happy. In addition, she also played the acoustic version of "Gorgeous."
