Just at the start of the new week, Shawn Mendes drew attention to Mental Health Awareness Month through his Instagram interactions with followers.
The 24-year-old musician, who was recently observed smoking a cigarette with friends, shared photos of himself in nature on the internet. The heartthrob, who disclosed that he and Camila Cabello had rekindled their romance with kisses at Coachella, was shirtless in some of the outtakes displayed in the carousel.
He wrote in a caption for his 72.4 million followers that when he's experiencing severe anxiety, it can be difficult to perform activities such as meditation, journaling, and breathing work.
The celebrity, who has previously spoken out about mental health issues, added that in reality, sometimes he just needs REST and a little time in nature.
The first photograph captured the Canadian musician wearing gray pants traversing an arid landscape. The top of his black boxer briefs were visible due to the low rise of his trousers.

As he walked away from the camera, Shawn flaunted his gym-honed, muscular back. His caption continued that he has discovered places in the city where he can retreat for an hour or so when things feel intense, and it's transformed his life. Nature sort of naturally heals, he added.
Another image in the collection depicted the tall, muscular Hollywood heartthrob wearing a beige cable-knit sweater and boxer briefs. Once more, he had his back to the camera as he surveyed a verdant landscape of grass and trees. As he stood on a deck with his palms on his hips, he was barefoot.
In addition, Shawn included a video of himself meditating by a tranquil stream. He closed his eyes and placed his palm-up arms on his quadriceps while resting them on his knees. Mendes was photographed standing in a field of yellow blossoms as the sun shone above him in another outtake from the photo series. He donned a white tank top and a gray sweatshirt draped over his arms while facing the camera.
Additionally, there was an image of Shawn lying on his back with a crystal on his forehead. The photograph was colored red because the "In My Blood" singer appeared to be in an infrared sauna. In a second selfie, he posed in front of a mirror, displaying himself from the chest down while wearing a sweater and matching pants.
In addition, Mendes included a photograph of his tattooed hand illuminated by a rainbow ray of light. The post garnered over one million likes and a plethora of supportive comments, including one from the app Calm that dubbed him the 'mental health king.'
