Jimmie Allen seems unbothered despite being sued by a "Jane Doe" for false imprisonment, sexual battery, and assault.

When the news of the allegations broke out, the musician issued a statement to Variety, denouncing the claims directed at him.

"It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever," Allen said.

He admitted to the relationship but denied that "Jane Doe" ever refused his advances or accused him of any wrongdoings.

"Only after things ended between us, did she hire a lawyer to reach out and ask for money, which leads me to question her motives.

"The simple fact is, her accusations are not only false, but also extremely damaging. I've worked incredibly hard to build my career, and I intend to mount a vigorous defense to her claims and take all other legal action necessary to protect my reputation."

Crumbling Down

According to reports, following the lawsuit and allegation going public, Allen's agency and management suspended him.

On top of that, his publicist, Full Coverage Communications, has dropped him.

So the Grammy-nominated musician took to Instagram in an attempt to clear his name one more time.

"We gonna be alright, this too shall pass," the country musician wrote with praying hands and fist emoji. He also added his song "Be Alright" as the background to the Story.

After that post, Allen once again took to Instagram to share a promo picture of a song called "God Only Knows" by King & Country, he added, "He knows!"

Allegations

Variety broke the story of the sexual abuse and assault allegations, which included an interview with "Jane Doe" herself.

She claims that on multiple occasions, Allen would subject her to sexual abuse and assault over a period of 18 months.

She also noted that as her employer, he would hang her employment over her head to get what he wanted.

"I was disconnected from my body, feeling a sense of panic," "Jane Doe" said. "'I've been thinking about this for so long.'" She adds: "He held me in place. At that point, any physical will was just out the door. I was pretty much paralyzed."

Jimmie Allen is a country music singer. He was awarded the Artist of the Year at the Country Music Association Award in 2021.
