The intrusion of an unwelcome admirer, who used her position as a military officer to interact with BTS's Jin during his army service, has resulted in a troubling controversy that has enraged the BTS ARMY.

This sasaeng, who has violated professional boundaries, is being investigated by the Ministry of National Defense, bringing to light the disturbing trend of fan invasions of idols' privacy.

Officer A of the 28th Division allegedly abused her authority and connections to infiltrate the 5th Division Recruit Training Center, where Jin was assigned, on January 19.

Officer A reportedly spent approximately two hours (1:30 PM to 3:30 PM) administering a secondary dengue fever vaccination to Jin in the middle of January. From her unauthorized exit to her improper interaction with Jin, the entire incident unfolds as a startling account of professional misconduct and fanatical obsession.

Officer A reportedly utilized her relationship with a 5th Division nursing officer to acquire access to Jin. Now, ARMYs are concerned about the profoundly disturbing behavior exhibited by sasaeng supporters. In addition to placing Jin in an awkward position, it was stated that her actions also violated Article 79 of the Military Criminal Act, which could result in imprisonment or a fine for an unauthorized absence from the workplace.

In addition, there are suspicions that Officer A smuggled a considerable amount of Tylenol into the training facility, adding another layer of concern to this situation.

For those unfamiliar, Jin is the senior member of BTS. He joined the military in December 2022, becoming the first member of the K-pop group to do so. J-hope is the second member of the group to enlist. Before being driven to the city of Wonju to participate in the military enlistment ceremony, the 29-year-old even posted an Instagram photo of his freshly shaved scalp.

Additionally, the band posted a final photo together, with Jin donning a military uniform. Years were spent debating whether BTS would be required to perform the mandatory service and whether their artistic contributions should exempt them.

In 2019, however, the Ministry of Defense ruled that they must serve. In 2025, the male band will reunite as a complete unit.

BTS' agent Hybe has already released a statement confirming this issue has transpired and more investigation is going to be conducted.
