Corey Taylor and his band Slipknot have an image that the public already knows in their heads. Most people would view their acts as scary as they would often wear horror masks during their sets, but they also have a playful side.
More recently, the frontman performed the theme song of the popular Nickelodeon children's TV show "SpongeBob Squarepants" along with the voice actor of the character himself, Tom Kenny.
According to Billboard, Taylor took the stage of the Huntington Comic and Toy Convention in West Virginia whereas the surprise guest of the favorite underwater sponge's voice actor.
"This is the most nervous I've ever been in my whole career, How the hell did I get here, guys?" the singer told the crowd.
They later belt out the theme song along with a live band and fans screamed and sang along in the audience area as seen on a video posted online.
Tom Kenny Involved in Ariana Grande Issue
Last month, Ariana Grande became viral due to an issue surrounding her rumored boyfriend Ethan Slater, who starred as SpongeBob Squarepants in the Broadway Musical.
Amid the drama, Tom Kenny was also involved which led his wife to clarify that her husband was not dating the "7 Rings" hitmaker.

"[Tom Kenny] is not dating Ariana Grande. I don't know if Ethan Slater is or isn't dating Ariana Grande. However, they're both adorable and I totally ship it," Jill Talley wrote in the comment section of an Instagram post by The Cut.
Slipknot New Album Coming Out in 2024?
Corey Taylor's recent appearance comes after his interview with NME to reveal the release date of their long-lost album "Look Outside Your Window."
Speaking with NME, the musician, who is also a member of the band Stone Sour, said he had a conversation with Shawn Crahan, also known as Clown, about the record. He noted that one of the main reasons why the lost record was not released publicly was because of his projects that conflict with it.
"It's sounding like he's got a release date that he can finally lock in and I have promised him that I won't release anything that will ruin that," he told the outlet.
Corey Taylor then revealed that "Look Outside Your Window" could possibly be released in 2024.
