Throughout the Slipknot fan community, the long lost album "Look Outside Your Window" has been a talk of town for more than a decade now and supporters are patiently waiting for the band to finally release the album.

More recently, frontman Corey Taylor finally shared when the record is dropping and he admitted in a recent interview that it was partly his fault why the project has never seen the light of day; what happened?

In a conversation with NME, the musician, who is also a part of Stone Sour, said he was talking to his bandmate Shawn "Clown" Crahan the other day before his interview and he told him that one of the main reasons why their album was never released was because he keeps putting a lot of projects out that conflicts with "Look Outside Your Window."

"I was like, 'F*** dude, why didn't you tell me?' He says, 'F***, Taylor - you just got too much s***!' It's sounding like he's got a release date that he can finally lock in and I have promised him that I won't release anything that will ruin that," he said.

Taylor then revealed that finally, the album's possible release date would be in 2024, but he didn't give any further details on what month or if they will drop singles prior to the main project itself.
