Dua Lipa has already released two albums and has won several awards over the past year, but many were wondering if she's ready to open a new chapter in her life and become a mother; check out her answer below.

The global pop star, who released her sophomore album "Future Nostalgia" in 2020 and broke records from left to right, spoke with Vogue France for a cover story.

In the interview, the singer opened up about how close she is with her family, especially with her parents and grandparents; she also noted that they consider them "so precious."

Later on, the fashion magazine asked her if she's planning to have her own family in the future and have children, it appears that the singer is not in the phase of having kids at this age.

"Hmm, maybe. But nothing's planned!" she answered.

Lipa, who recently starred at her debut movie "Barbie" as Mermaid Barbie and sang the film's official soundtrack titled "Dance The Night Away," further explained that there is only one baby she's thinking about lately.

"The only baby I'm thinking about is my new album," she added. (via People Magazine)

Elsewhere in the conversation, the singer revealed that she's grateful to focus on her work and career at the moment because what she's doing is also her passion.

She also opened a conversation in society and she thinks that they have acquired a place that was "forbidden before."

I think women want to do things at their own pace, and not feel guilty for thinking of themselves," she noted.

Personally, Lipa will know when the time is right for her to start a family, but since it's not happening anytime soon, she wanted to make the most of her youth.

As of this writing, Dua Lipa didn't give more details about the release date of her new album.

The recent interview comes after Dua Lipa took to her official Instagram account to reflect on her first song ever titled "New Love."

She revealed in the post that the song, which was released eight years ago, was written by her along with collaborators Andrew Wyatt and Emile Haynie.

"19-year-old me would be very happy to know we'd get this far," she added.

Lipa later released her self-titled album at the same year which featured some of her biggest hits like "New Rules," "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)," and many more.
