Dua Lipa is finally releasing a new album, three years after the release of her well-received and beloved sophomore album "Future Nostalgia."

The Albanian singer is ushering in a new era to her music career, and she has begun teasing the upcoming album by clearing out her Instagram feed and changing her profile picture.

After hearing about the new update, fans went wild, expressing their excitement for new music.

"Crying, throwing up. She's coming," a fan wrote.

"I remember when she did this before teasing and releasing 'Don't Start Now'. it honestly doesn't feel that long ago, time flies."

"Enough vacation for you, baby, let's work," another added.

Dua Lipa Teases New Music

According to reports, this is not the first time Lipa has hinted at releasing new material. The "Levitating" singer has been sharing imagery of butterflies and kaleidoscopes time and time again through out her social media accounts, and fans are now becoming suspicious and excited.

Aside from deleting all her posts on Instagram, Lipa also cleared out her TikTok account.

The last time the singer released anything was back in July, "Dance the Night" is a song she recorded for the blockbuster "Barbie" movie, which had an accompanying music video.

Dua Lipa Talks About New Album

When asked about her upcoming release, Lipa tried to play coy and denied knowing anything about a new album.

"I don't know what you're talking about," she laughed, but eventually she relented and admitted that her next body of work will be "more personal," and inspired by "1970s-era psychedelia."

"I think it's a marketing tool: How confessional can you be?" Lipa explained about the upcoming album. "I also don't put so much of my life out there for people to dig into the music in this weird, analytical way."

The album has actually been in the works for years now. Back in 2022, she revealed that the album was "maybe 50 percent of the way" completed.

Meanwhile, Lipa is also working on her acting career. She will be in the upcoming movie "Argylle," alongside Henry Cavill, and Samual L. Jackson, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Bryan Cranston.

The movie is a spy thriller and is directed by Matthew Vaughn, the genius behind the "Kingsman" franchise, reports say.
