Britney Spears detailed the eerie paranormal activity she experienced after her breakup with Justin Timberlake.

Spears' memoir "The Woman in Me" - out on Tuesday, October 24 - disclosed her past experiences on and off the camera. It also touched on her relationship with Timberlake from 1999 to 2002.

Britney Spears Experienced Something Eerie After Justin Timberlake Split

In a newly released excerpt from the memoir, Spears shared the time she drove through the Arizona desert after her split from the *NSYNC member in 2002. She was with a friend who was also going through a breakup at that time, and they wanted to have the trip to clear their heads after their heartbreaks.

As they rode in the convertible, they enjoyed the stars and continued traveling until she felt the wind blowing through her hair. A few moments later, Spears reportedly felt "an eerie feeling settled" over her.

The "Toxic" singer, however, added that the feeling was "a profound beauty, otherworldly and humbling."

Although she wanted to ask her friend about aliens, she decided not to do so and stayed quiet instead. However, her pal soon opened up about it and asked her if she felt it.

"We felt it at that moment because we needed it," Spears continued. "We were so spiritually open and so raw. It showed us there was more than just what we could see."

Britney Spears Says Justin Timberlake "Shamed Her"

Elsewhere in her memoir, Spears also reflected on Timberlake's move to release his song "Cry Me a River." Per the "Toxic" singer, her ex shamed her with the track and led her to suffer a backlash.

"In the news media, I was described as a harlot who'd broken the heart of America's golden boy," she writes," she added. "The truth: I was comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood. But I was shattered. Everyone felt very sorry for him. And it shamed me."

Aside from the song, the "What Goes Around... Comes Around" singer reportedly wanted to reveal her dark sides years after their split. He told journalist Robert Haskell in 2006 that he would not be able to fight "the urge to write every dirty thing" about her if he was to write an article about Spears.
