S Club 7's recent tour stop has left everyone furious and disappointed following a suspected fire in the venue.

On Monday, October 30, the five members of S Club 7 - Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Rachel Stevens, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett - met their fans at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena as part of their anniversary tour. They planned the shows before Paul Cattermole was found dead on April 6.

According to different reports by several news outlets, including the Daily Mail, the fire alarm siren started while S Club 7 was performing their song "Alive." It became the second time it happened after the band postponed a different gig in October following a separate suspected fire at the venue.

Chief executive of the ACC Liverpool Group Faye Dayer revealed that the sensor was triggered, leading everyone in the arena to be evacuated.

"Our safety systems are comprehensively tested and fully certified, and responded appropriately, but for reasons we are yet to fully understand our house lights did not automatically turn on as programmed, which meant our manual systems were activated, resulting in a short delay," she explained.

She also addressed the blocked fire exits, which left the attendees fuming, saying that they were indeed impassable amid the probe to determine the source of the alleged fire.

Following a safety check, the team determined that it was safe to continue.

The M&S Bank Arena also apologized after the event and said it understood people's disappointment. However, it maintained that the safety and comfort of every one were their utmost priority.

"We're excited to announce that British pop legends @sclub will release their new single 'These Are The Days' on Wed 26 July," XIX Entertainment said. "The single is being released via @universalmusicgroup as part of a brand new global partnership."

Cattermole died on April 6 hours after he was found unconscious. His death certificate revealed that he died from multiple heart problems and other issues, including severe coronary artery atheroma and intraplaque hemorrhage, cardiac arrhythmia and acute myocardial ischemia.
