Allegedly, Britney Spears is not closing doors to having a reconciliation with her mom. However, she's keen to have it happen in only one way.

It has to happen organically or not happen at all, it seems.

Britney Spears prefers for her reconciliation with her mother Lynne to unfold organically rather than being forced.

Lynne accompanied Britney on her travels and took care of her as she started her career as a child star in the 1990s.

The two's relationship has reportedly been strained in public in recent years due to Lynne's purported involvement in Britney's contentious conservatorship. Nonetheless, the two have defused their differences to the extent where Lynn was present for Britney's 42nd birthday celebration earlier this month.

As of right now, a source for Us Weekly has stated that Britney is amenable to patching up her relationship with Lynne, but she prefers for things to develop naturally without coercion.

Britney is presently "in a really good place," the insider asserted, adding that she "would love to continue maintaining her relationship with her mom."

But it also seems that the Princess of Pop "doesn't feel like there's a need to rush anything" and wants "to take her time" with the recovery process.

Reportedly, the star knows that her mom would have loved for her to visit for Christmas, but she just felt like it was too soon. More so, when the whole world read how she has had hold grudges with several people who did her wrong in her life - including her mom, just recently through her memoir.

With the publication of her best-selling autobiography, "The Woman In Me," this year, Britney has taken aim at a number of people, including her parents, her former partner Justin Timberlake, and her sister Jamie Lynn, whom she has branded a "total b****" since she was eleven years old.

In the book, Britney claimed that her childhood writings and dolls had been thrown out by her parents, Jamie and Lynne. She talked about how significant her Madame Alexander dolls were to her, one of the few indulgences in her impoverished upbringing.

In 2019, Britney claimed that her parents had given away her "prized possessions," such as the dolls and journals, while she had recently received mental health treatment and was still under Jamie's contentious conservatorship. Following her release from the conservatorship in 2021, Britney angrily claimed that her mother had conceptualized the arrangement.

Even though it seems like their relationship has soured since then, Britney continued to criticize Lynne in the biography, claiming that Lynne had a hand in the dolls' disposal. But then, her mom denied everything after the singer aired all these in the public.

However, Spears said she has really moved on from these wrongs so it does not matter if her mom would want to deny everything.

Meanwhile, a TMZ source revealed this month that Jamie was "not doing well" and had to have a limb amputated due to an infection. Divergent opinions have been expressed over the possibility of Britney and Jamie reconciling at his hospital bed.
