The actor spent four years slaving away on CBS's soundstage, breathing life into Adam Newman on "The Young and the Restless" before being fired under scandalous circumstances in December. While the actor admitted in August that he had been negotiating a return to the soap, which ultimately fell through, his fans sat on the fence about even the possibility of going back to the soap they felt had treated him badly. Muhney is now working on four different film roles, proving he was more than capable of landing other projects when he finally decided to move on.

    The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa and Joe Giudice have been in a state of nonstop crisis for the last two weeks. That chatfest showed fans just how out of touch with reality Teresa really is as she claimed not to understand her plea deal at all. On Wednesday Joe found himself in a courtroom once again because of his drivers license fraud case. This time around Joe again took a plea deal which means he was sentenced to 18-months in jail, a sentence that will run concurrent with the 41-months he already has to serve because of his financial crimes. Teresa was most certainly not at her husbands' side for this sentencing, instead she was reportedly meeting with a divorce attorney.

    CNN announced that it will cut 300 jobs on Wednesday and it also confirmed ongoing speculation about the future of several under-performing shows. With Jeff Zucker in charge, the news network decided to revive the long-running show Crossfire in an updated format. Unfortunately Newt Gingrich, Stephanie Cutter, S.E. Cupp and Van Jones never equaled ratings magic. The show was on hiatus for several weeks when CNN focused nonstop attention on missing flight MH370 and when it returned in July it remained the lowest rated show on any news network. Needless to say, Crossfire has been canceled as well as a few other specialty shows.

    This was bound to happen sooner or later- a college student from Sierra Leone was turned down for housing by a potential landlord out of an abundance of caution due to Ebola fears. Amara Bangura recently arrived in the U.K. region of Norwich from West Africa ready to continue his studies. He was obviously in need of housing and was almost instantly turned down by two potential landlords that took a look at his passport. One potential landlord sent Bangura a letter explaining their decision to rent to someone else.

    300 Pennsylvania State Troopers have been combing the heavily wooded Pocono Mountain area ever since suspected cop-killer Eric Frein gunned down Cpl. Bryon Dickson on Sept. 12. Frein is a trained survivalist that has left behind several clues, including a hand written account of the shooting, yet officers are always at least one step behind him. As of now they have admitted that once the leaves fall from the trees they will clearly have the visual upper-hand, making it sound like they are at the mercy of Mother Nature to be able to do their job. Commissioner Frank Noonan as also expressed concern that Frein will attack again.
