There are no official criteria for a "one-hit wonder," and it might be jumping the gun to call them as such. But for the time being, here are 7 of the one-hit wonders from the last decade: -

It's the first time in the contest's 14-year history to merit perfect scores from every judge. Those judges included a number of fellow musicians, including Avicii, Bastille and Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels of Run D.M.C. -

Woman, 23, Dies Aboard United Airlines Flight 115 from London to Newark
Travelers on a United Airlines flight from London's Heathrow Airport were faced with an in-flight medical crisis last night, Dec. 1, while en-route to Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey. Apparently, a 23-year-old woman became unconscious on Flight 115 and attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful. A doctor on board was unable to save the woman, who was traveling alone. The woman, who was pronounced dead at around 8:30 p.m., has yet to be identified. Police and a medical examiner greeted the plane, which landed at 9:45 p.m. and, while no official cause of death has been given, Port Authority officials claim that she appears to have died of natural causes. According to the "Daily Mail," the woman had pre-existing medical problems, but as of now no one is confirming what they may be. -
Pharrell Williams 'Happy' to Top Digital Downloads Chart
Things are looking optimistic for America, as Pharrell Williams' track "Happy" rose to the top of the Billboard Digital Downloads chart last week (not that a song named "Sad" was ever at the top). Williams got a continued boost from radio play, Beats commercials, DVD sales of Despicable Me 2, The NBA All-Star Game...just about everything. The track jumped 31 percent in sales and moved 329,000. -
Katy Perry Tops Digital Downloads Chart for Fifth Straight Week with 'Dark Horse'
Last week's Digital Downloads chart was dominated by songs that received reinvigorating performances during the Grammys, but now things have shifted back to normal. Supposedly. Still, the top spot is still held by a Grammy performance track. -
Katy Perry and 'Dark Horse' Top Digital Download for Fourth-Consecutive Week
This week's Digital Downloads chart, between the Grammy performances of a week ago and the Super Bowl commercials that aired the night before the numbers finalized, saw a significant increase in sales. -
Katy Perry Stays Second Week atop Digital Downloads Chart with 'Dark Horse'
An interesting trend has developed over on the Billboard Digital Downloads charts: A streak of two-week streaks. The previous five songs to hold the no. 1 spot in the Top 10 have appeared there for exactly two weeks before being replaced by a different song. -
Katy Perry Rides 'Dark Horse' to Top of Digital Downloads Charts; Aloe Blacc Rises with 'The Man'
The Top 10 albums from last week might not have featured too many new entries, but the Digital Downloads Top 10 indicates that new players are looking to make a run at the top. The top six tracks are all returnees, but nos. 7-10 are all new from last week. We'll start with the old favorites for the sake of numerical ordering. -
Pitbull, Ke$ha and 'Timber; Rule Digital Downloads Again
Last week's Digital Downloads Top 10 (Top 50 for that matter) all saw an increase in sales thanks to the giving of iTunes gift cards, etc. during the holidays. That resulted in this week's inevitable drop off for all of the songs in the Top 10, which all saw a decrease in sales from last week. That doesn't mean sales were bad however: Five songs still broke 200,000 in total downloads, up from the typical two or three. -
Pitbull, Ke$ha, Eminem and Rihanna End Year Atop Billboard Digital Downloads Chart
Music Times warned you that the final Digital Downloads' chart of the year would be chalk full of sales thanks to people cashing in on the iTunes/download cards they received for Christmas. And sure enough, it was a huge week. Every song in the Top 50 saw a sales increase, and 46 of those tracks saw rises of more than 100 percent (aka doubling in sales since last week). -
A Great Big World Tops Digital Downloads Top 10 Again
The end of the year didn't bring any new albums to the Billboard 200 Top 10 this week, and the Top 10 of the Digital Downloads charts didn't bring too many fresh faces either. -
A Great Big World, Christina Aguilera and 'Say Anything' Back at Top of Downloads Chart
"Timber" seemed like it might have been ready to hold down the Digital Downloads chart for a while, but another track had other ideas. -
Pitbull and Ke$ha beat Eminem and Rihanna for Digital Downloads in Slow Sales Week
For some odd reason, Christmas singles don't sell. Although the Billboard 200 was full of suddenly-popular CD's containing boatloads of "chestnuts," the Digital Downloads Top 10 didn't reflect the same. Which isn't to say that popular music downloads did particularly well either.
