Things are looking optimistic for America, as Pharrell Williams' track "Happy" rose to the top of the Billboard Digital Downloads chart last week (not that a song named "Sad" was ever at the top). Williams got a continued boost from radio play, Beats commercials, DVD sales of Despicable Me 2, The NBA All-Star Game...just about everything. The track jumped 31 percent in sales and moved 329,000.

That meant the end of a five-week run at no. 1 for Katy Perry and "Dark Horse." The track didn't jump off the map after falling from the top spot, sticking at no. 2 and selling 277,000 downloads. Jason Derulo again stayed at no. 3 after another boost in downloads. The single moved another 266,000 units, and stands to pass "Dark Horse" next week.

John Legend was the big winner this week, as his track "All of Me" jumped from no. 11 to no. 4. The song got a boost after appearing at The Grammys, but downloads have picked up significantly in the last few weeks, totaling 164,000 during the last tracking period. Bastille and "Pompeii" also made a jump, landing at no. 5 from no. 7 with 146,000 downloads.

The aforementioned acts were followed for the most part by a series of songs that lost traction. A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera's "Say Something" fell 16 percent to no. 6 with 145,000 downloads, and Passenger's "Let Her Go" fell 28 percent to 132,000 downloads. Idina Menzel was less specific with her song title, and "Let It Go" fell to no. 9, selling 127,000 downloads. Pitbull and Ke$ha may be on their last legs with "Timber," as the song dropped to no. 10 with 123,000 downloads.

The bottom five weren't all "losers," however. Aloe Blacc and "The Man" moved up one spot to no. 8, after moving 129,000 copies.
