• 'RHONJ's' Melissa and Joe Gorga Are Afraid the Government Will Target Them Next for Shady Business Dealings

Nothing has ever scared Joe Gorga quite like watching his sister, Teresa Giudice, be convicted of fraud and then sentenced to 15-months in prison. He is also in the same business that Joe Giudice is in (whatever that may be, we're not sure) and is reportedly more than a little worried that now that the Feds have wrapped up their case against the Giudices', they'll be taking a closer look at him. During their time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga has spent just as fast and furiously as Teresa did.
  • Gia Giudice Offers Up Heartfelt 'Just 13' While Teresa Screams at Joe From Behind Bars

When Teresa Giudice turned herself in a few weeks ago to begin serving a 15-month prison sentence in Connecticut, she left behind her admittedly irresponsible husband, Joe Giudice, to handle their four daughters. In the last week we have learned that 13-year-old Gia Giudice has really stepped up to take care of her sisters, and the fact that it has been a necessity rather than a choice has left her mother absolutely furious.
  • 'RHONJ' Gia Giudice Takes Care of Sisters as Mother Teresa Spends Next Year in Jail

So much attention has been placed on Teresa Giudice in recent months, especially after she was sentenced to time in federal prison. Fans of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" kind of knew the star was a bit shady, but it was not until she pled guilty to fraud that it became apparent just how deceitful she really was. For weeks now we have talked about the fact that Teresa will spend the next 13 months behind bars in Danbury, Connecticut, while her admitted alcoholic husband Joe Giudice steps up and takes care of their four kids for the first time. What that means that a lot more responsibility is inevitably landing on the shoulders of 13-year-old Gia Giudice.
  • Joe Giudice's Wedding Ring's Off as He Juggles 4 Kids While Teresa's in Prison

It only took Joe Giudice about 24 hours to ditch his wedding ring after his wife began serving her sentence at a federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut. Hours after Teresa Giudice turned herself in, Joe was spotted out and about in New Jersey without his ring. It has been widely reported that their marriage was in trouble, even before they were sentenced to serve prison time for purposely shady business dealings. Once jail time became official, with Teresa going away first, their marriage reportedly hit the skids hard. Fans of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" already know the Giudices have had separate bedrooms for the last few years because the kids actually talked about it on camera. Now The Hollywood Life is reporting that Teresa may have agreed to an open marriage while she spends the next 13 months in custody. The one stipulation supposedly made is that he be extremely discreet in whatever he decides to do.
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Had No Family Visit Yet Because She's in Drug Detox

When Teresa Giudice turned herself in to begin serving her 15-month sentence at Danbury Federal Correctional Institute, the focus was initially on the family that she was leaving behind. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" husband Joe Giudice is now in charge of taking care of their four daughters, something he has never done before, and the media began speculating on Teresa's life without hair extensions and a new chore list. As it turns out, an even bigger problem is plaguing the reality star: an addiction to prescription pills. According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa has been using Xanax and Valium for the last five years, and she has also dabbled with human growth hormones to put muscle on her lean frame. That means she is now experiencing some major detox behind bars. According to the source, Teresa could be afflicted with symptoms for as long as two weeks as everything leaves her body. "Teresa would get things through her friend whose husband is a doctor and two other doctors. It's going to be a [major] detox. I warned her about that. It's going to be hell. It's a cold withdrawal. You just detox. It's a really brutal withdrawal. She'll get sick. She will get diarrhea. She'll have actual DTs [delirium tremens, aka 'the shakes']," said the source.
  • 'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice is Hoping to Work in Kitchen to Improve Prison Food

Just a few days in to her jail stint, Teresa Giudice has reportedly come to understand what many former inmates could have told her, the food at Danbury Federal Prison is lousy. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is hoping to eventually get a job working in the kitchen so that she can help to improve the quality of the bland food that is being served. Obviously, the food isn't the only major lifestyle change that Giudice is adjusting to this week.
  • 'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice is Blaming SIL Melissa Gorga for Her Jail Sentence!

If you tuned in for the most recent season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," then you saw that for the first time in years, Teresa Giudice had finally buried the hatchet with her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. She spent the last few seasons insisting that her brother, Joe Gorga, had made the mistake of his life by marrying Melissa and she spread lies and rumors galore to bolster her claims. With prison looming, Teresa decided to clean up the mess with the Gorgas so that she could lean on them for support, which she did. Apparently behind their backs Teresa also blamed them for her being sent to prison!
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Has Turned Herself in to Danbury Prison to Begin 15-Month Sentence

The first day of the next 15 months of Teresa Giudice's life has finally arrived. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star turned herself in to Danbury Federal Correctional Institution at around 3 a.m. this morning, Jan. 5, accompanied by her attorney, James J. Leonard Jr. Her husband, Joe Giudice, stayed behind with the couple's four children, no doubt one of the hardest days of their lives. When asked about Giudice's mindset this morning, Leonard claims his client actually was holding up well, all things considered. He told northjersey.com that Giudice was: "Very, very strong. Very, what I would say is, very anxious to get this thing started and very anxious to get it behind her. In all of my discussions with her, her singular focus has been on her four children. She's never talked about what is this gonna be like for me. Always her concern is with her children, not with herself. We worked it out with the prison. They wanted her to report at 3 a.m. We actually got to Danbury at about a quarter to 2. Then we went and found a diner and had something to eat. We just talked and then when we were done, we went to the prison." Leonard also said the prison staff was kind to Giudice and answered her questions about visitation and phone calls. No doubt this is the start of reality finally hitting the reality star and her kids as well. Her oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, has already shown some understandable emotional cracks, and this past weekend was tough on the 13-year-old.
  • Gia Giudice's Tweet Raises Concern Before Mom Teresa Begins Prison Sentence

Can you imagine being 13 years old and knowing that you are about to lose your mother for 15 months because she has to report to prison? That is the position Gia Giudice is in now that her mother, Teresa Giudice, is hours away from turning herself in to a Connecticut prison camp. While Teresa was granted an extra three months of freedom so she could spend this holiday season with her kids, the time has come for her to pay for years of bank fraud and other financial crimes, and her oldest daughter is reportedly feeling the stress. On Saturday night, Jan. 3, Gia tweeted about not being able to sleep — it has since been deleted — because she had too much on her mind, and while she has always seemed like a tough kid, she certainly has a rough road ahead of her and she knows it. While "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has claimed that she always puts her kids first, her presence is not going to be felt for more than a year, and that could potentially leave a lot resting on Gia's shoulders. Joe Giudice is expected to take over all the family duties, but that sounds problematic, especially since he originally used his alcoholism as a way of getting out of doing federal time. Now we know he will do that federal time after Teresa is released, and we also know he has spent the majority of his time these last several months drinking and avoiding the stress at home. It is a mystery how he will clean himself up in order to morph into the role of a responsible father.
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Enjoys Last Few Days of Freedom Skiing, Doing Shots

In less than two weeks, Teresa Giudice is scheduled to report to a Connecticut prison camp to begin serving a 15-month sentence for financial fraud, and the reality star is making the most of her last few days of freedom. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star began her weekend supporting her daughter Gia Giudice's singing group 3KT as they performed a holiday concert and spent the next day on the ski slopes. According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice spent time over the weekend at Crystal Springs Resort and Spa in New Jersey. After being spotted on the ski slopes, Teresa was later spotted doing Fireball shots with a few friends. Sources claim that while the star was determined to have a good time, there were definitely moments in the trip where she appeared quite uneasy. While the judge who sentenced Teresa to 15 months in prison allowed her to begin serving her time after the holidays, purposely giving her more time with her four kids, that is not going to really make things easier on her in the long run. The build-up in the press before Teresa's incarceration has likely weighed heavily on her whole family.
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Looking for People to Take Her Kids During 15-Month Prison Term

The clock is ticking on Teresa Giudice's freedom. After pleading guilty to various counts of fraud, she was sentenced to 15 months in prison, and her Jan. 5 surrender date is fast approaching, leaving her no choice but to tie up all kinds of loose ends before she leaves for prison in Connecticut. While "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star originally claimed that she trusted her husband Joe Giudice to handle their four kids while she is away, that is no longer the case. According to Radar Online, Teresa has had a difficult time believing she is really headed off to jail, but as time has gone on and Joe's behavior has worsened, she realized her daughters are probably better off elsewhere. "She knows Joe doesn't want to take care of them, and she doesn't think he's capable. Theresa has become so desperate she's now considering giving her kids to friends!" says the source.
  • 'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice is Losing It, Believes Her Phones are Tapped by the Feds

Teresa Giudice has only two short weeks of freedom left before she has to report to a prison camp in Connecticut and as the days wind down the fallen reality star is certainly struggling. We already told you that earlier this week the Feds actually raided the Giudice's mansion in New Jersey because they seem to be completely incapable of following the rules that the court has laid out for them. Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice still owe over $214K in restitution and they were required to submit a payment plan. When they neglected to do so federal agents moved in and took cash, valuables and even the kids Christmas presents to auction off in an attempt to settle the debt. Now we're hearing that Teresa believes the government is watching and listening in on everything that she says and does.
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Funds Another Music Vid for Daughter's Group 3KT Despite Being Broke

Teresa Giudice has spent the last few months talking about how careful she needs to be with money now that she has admitted to a slew of financial crimes and still owes more than $200,000 in restitution, but she seems to be having a tough time actually doing it. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has always had a difficult time telling her kids that they cannot have something, and now that Giudice is just weeks away from turning herself in to a Connecticut prison camp, saying no is even tougher. That is probably why when 13-year-old Gia Guidice's all-girl group 3KT failed to make enough money to fund a music video through a Kickstarter campaign, it was Teresa to the rescue. According to a report by Radar Online, the campaign raised only a little more than $900 of the $7,500 needed to make the video so 3KT's manager canceled the initial shoot. There was no way Giudice was going to allow her oldest daughter to be disappointed heading into the last holiday they will be able to spend together for a while, so she decided to foot a nice chunk of the bill to get the video made.
