Miami based production and DJ duo GTA are gearing up to release their debut, somewhat self-titled, album Good Times Ahead tomorrow, Oct. 7. The LP has featured from the likes of Tinashe, Vince Staples, What So Not and Tunji Ige. Albums take time and can be influenced by many different types of artists and styles. We asked GTA to pick out 10 songs that influenced them on their journey to Good Times Ahead and they picked out tracks from the likes of Glass Animals, Rufus, M83, Isley Brothers and more.

Read on to see all 10 songs and their reasoning behind each track. Pre-order Good Times Ahead on iTunes before it drops tomorrow, Oct. 7.

1. Glass Animals - Gooey

This song is so nice to listen to! No matter who we've shown it to, there is just good vibes all around. This band really inspired us to focus on making every song on our album strong enough to stand on its own.

2. Rufus - Innerbloom (What So Not Remix)

This song is the perfect amount of vibes and turn up! It's so good.

3. Vince Staples - Norf Norf

This is the first track that we heard from Vince Staples that just made us go nuts!! Been loving everything he's been putting out since, especially this new one he did, "Lil Bit Of This" ;]

4. Jarina De Marco - Tigre

Heard this track on the show Broad City and had to find out who it was. And we did, and started working with Jarina pretty much the day after we started talking to Jarina. Catch her on the first track of the album!

5. Kaytranada - LITE SPOTS

His whole 99.9% album was amazing. Kaytranada has always been such a big inspiration for us. He actually inspired us about 3-4 years ago when we first made the instrumental for our track "In My Nature" ft. Karina that's on the album. So glad we finally got it done. It's one of our favorite tracks.

6. SBTRKT - Higher

We really love the simplicity of the beat and the how it was more focused on the vocal. This definitely inspired us by making us pay more attention to the vocals on the album.

7. Isley Brothers - Footsteps In the Dark

This one specifically inspired the last track on our album, "Illuminate." We just loved the dreamy guitar voicing and the 4/4 beat together.

8. Lorde - Tennis Court (Flume Remix)

We were really inspired by the way the dreamy melodies and airy synths go over some hard drums. This song is a perfect mix of everything to us!

9. M83 - Midnight City

This one is super catchy to us and feels so amazing. The positive vibe of this song is very inspiring to us and the album!

10. Baauer - Way From Me

The dope shuffle influenced us a lot and kept our minds fresh with some electronic vibes. Baauer is one of our favorite producers and this song -- his whole album really -- was inspiring to us!
