Skrillex and Dillon Francis have unleashed their "rebirth" of Skrillex's long-awaited remix of GTA's "Red Lips." Originally just thought to be from Dillon Francis, the rebirth now has Skrillex's name attached to it, who adds some bigger and more powerful drums to the tune.

The new rebirth follows in the same pattern as many other rebirths that Dillon Francis has done in the past. He switches the tempo to 110 or 112 BPMs and brings it back to the moombahton sound that he got his start with. The pair keep the vocals that made this easy to remix in the first place, slow things down and add in new snare rolls underneath the drums Skrillex put in the original remix. It switches up in the second drop with a faster tempo and more added drums.

The rebirth is a way for Dillon Francis to remix his own song. It began with his "Masta Blasta" rebirth that eventually became just as popular as the original an

Dillon Francis has been teasing the Rebirth on his Snapchat over the past few months and then again during his DJ sets live. Just like the Skrillex remix, there has been a feverish anticipation for this new rebirth of the Skrillex remix building over the past few months driven by the artists putting the public onto their progress.

This is the first bit of music fans have heard from both artists in 2016 after successful 2015s for both. Skrillex became a household name in the pop world for his work alongside Justin Bieber, while Dillon Francis released a six-track moombahton EP that included a collaboration with Skrillex titled "Bun Up The Dance."
