The hype train is going strong for the upcoming "Terminator 6", with details coming in at a furious pace. Just days after confirmation that Linda Hamilton will reprise her role as Sarah Conner, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself provides more information for fans to munch on.

After his successful appearance at the "An Experience with Arnold Schwarzenegger" at Birmingham's Hilton Metropole, Terminator Fans was able to corner the former governor to ask more questions about the new "Terminator" film. In the interview, Schwarzenegger revealed that Hamilton is already physically working out for her return as Conner. Arnold himself has been reported to be hitting the gym as well, possibly preparing for his comeback as the T-800.

On the other hand, the departure of "Terminator 6" to its predecessor, "Terminator: Genisys" has been confirmed by both Schwarzenegger and producer James Cameron, adding that the movie will not be called "Terminator 6." As reported by Gamespot, the lackluster performance of the Christian Bale-led fifth installment caused a dramatic decrease in interest for the franchise.

As Cameron had no involvement on the past three entries, the producers are looking into connecting to "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." This, plus the aforementioned poor performance of the past films, would be good reason enough for it not to be called "Terminator 6," as it would refer to the second movie more than the others.

Additionally, Schwarzenegger said that Robert Patrick will still be absent in the upcoming film. Previously taking the role of the transforming T-1000 cyborg that was after John Conner in "Judgment Day," Patrick has been vocal on returning to the franchise. However, it is possible that the production team may be saving him for a future installment.

The initial script for "Terminator 6" would be ready for reading soon, with Cameron himself working on the draft. Filming is scheduled for March 2018, with "Deadpool" director Tim Miller seated in the director's chair.
