Dolly Parton has opted not to go on tour and is instead intending to publish a biography.

Going throughout the numerous states and around the world, according to the country superstar, is too time demanding. She is said to want to spend as much time as she can with her husband.

Following reports that fans will not be able to see her perform live anytime soon, the National Enquirer reported that the "Islands in the Stream" singer is working on a memoir and has some juicy details to share about her life.

According to an insider, one of her life goals is to care for her husband Carl while he is still alive. Dolly plans to manage Dollywood and her other commercial ventures, but one thing she truly wants to do is work on an unedited version of her life narrative.

The "Jolene" singer apparently wants to share her experiences with other deceased country musicians such as Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, and Porter Wagoner.

The informant also stated that the 76-year-old was never as excellent a songwriter as Loretta, and she is well aware of this.

Concerning Kenny, the source stated that Dolly adored him and that they share an "intense attraction."

"If Carl hadn't intervened, Dolly would have run away with Kenny."

Aside from her friendships, relationships, and almost-relationships, Dolly Parton reportedly wants to discuss how drugs were prevalent in Nashville in the beginning.

Dolly never used drugs or drank, but her friend Willie Nelson was known as the biggest pothead in country music. According to reports, the 76-year-old singer-songwriter never did any of these things.

The Truth About Dolly Parton's Bombshell Memoir

Still, take this claim with a grain of salt because there has been no hint or declaration that Dolly Parton is intending to write a shocking book.

Dolly Parton Gets $100 Million From Jeff Bezos

Dolly Parton was honored with a $100 million donation from Jeff Bezos after being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The iconic singer was recently named the latest recipient of the Bezos Courage and Civility Award, which honors leaders who "aim high, find solutions, and always do it with civility."

Those who get awards are required to donate the funds to charity of their choice.

Dolly Parton, according to the Amazon founder, "embodies these principles so profoundly. She gives from the heart, and what she's done for kids, literacy, and so many other causes is simply incredible."

Dolly is not one to brag about helping others, but she did say that if people can help, they should.

"I try to put my money where my heart is," she said, accepting the award.
