Taylor Swift is one of the most influential people in the world, aside from being a renowned musician.
A new poll recently disclosed how Swift's words alone could affect people's decisions in a snap. In fact, she could reportedly overturn the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

A news outlet shared the result of the poll conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, showing that Swift could sway voters in the upcoming election by endorsing a candidate.
It said that 18 percent of the voters are more likely to vote for a presidential candidate the "Anti-Hero" singer approved of. On the other hand, 17 percent said they would be less likely to vote during the election if Swift backed someone.
The company invited 1,500 eligible voters to participate in the poll earlier this month, per the media outlet. Most of the responders who said they would support the person endorsed by Swift were young voters.
Meanwhile, 45 percent of the participants revealed they are Swifties.
As of press time, Swift has yet to share her opinion on the upcoming presidential election. She, however, previously showed support for former Democratic Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen in 2018 and President Joe Biden in 2020.
The result seemingly resonated with Swift's previous decision not to comment on the Israel-Palestine conflict when the most famous Hollywood stars and musicians shared their support for Israelis.
Her fans, at that time, defended Swift and said she did not need to get involved in complicated topics since her words could influence the world.

Dakota Johnson Says Taylor Swift Is the Most Powerful Person in the U.S.
During her opening monologue on the "Saturday Night Live" January 27 episode, Dakota Johnson recalled attending the show's 40th anniversary party in 2015. While photos were being shown on screen, she said, "Crazy to be standing so close to someone who would become the most powerful person in America" when the cameras panned into Swift.
Even TIME recognized the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer's power that the magazine named her the 2023 Person of the Year.
TIME's editor-in-chief Sam Jacobs published an exclusive page to explain why they gave the honor to Swift.
"For building a world of her own that made a place for so many, for spinning her story into a global legend, for bringing joy to a society desperately in need of it, Taylor Swift is TIME's 2023 Person of the Year," the latter part of the article read.
