The boys of Florida Georgia Line will be hosting the inaugural American Country Countdown Awards on Dec. 15 on FOX, Rolling Stone reports.

The show, which is based on the radio standard American Country Countdown With Kix Brooks, will take place at Nashville's Music City Center and run for two hours. Details on performers and presenters are scarce, but there will be an achievement award called the "NASH Icon" presented to an artist within the genre. No word on whether Brooks is involved with the telecast.

Last year marked the end of the American Country Awards, which began as a fan-voted award show in 2010.

Florida Georgia Line, which includes Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, joined the country scene in 2010, but it wasn't until their second EP It'z Just What We Do dropped in 2012 for the band to see some real success. The duo was driven to the top of the charts with songs like "Cruise" and "Get Your Shine On," which were both later included on the group's first album Here's To The Good Times. Florida Georgia Line's second album, Anything Goes, is scheduled for an Oct. 14 release. The album's first single, "Dirt," has been getting some serious attention on the airwaves since July and it sold about 200,000 downloads during its first week, according to RS.

The group is currently touring as part of the "Burn It Down" tour, which makes stops in Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Washington and Colorado coming up. For a full list of dates, visit the band's website.
