Calling all Pearl Jam fans! This is not a drill! The band just announced their new album and on top of that, they will go on a massive tour this year; check out all the details below.

According to Kerrang, the group confirmed that their 12th studio album titled "Dark Matter" will be available for purchase and streaming on major music platforms on April 19, 2024 under their label Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records.

Produced by Andrew Watt, the band reportedly worked on the album in just three weeks because the group just played together "with a burst of inspiration."

Frontman Eddie Vedder spoke about the upcoming project, saying that this might be their best work to date as he said, "We're at this time in our lives when you could do it or you could not do it, but we still care about putting something out there that is meaningful and we hopefully think is our best work. No hyperbole, I think this is our best work."

The new album will consist of 11 new songs. Jeff Ament noted that when they were recording the album, they felt like they were about to make a "really important record."

Pearl Jam Tour 2024

In addition to a new album, the band will also go on a massive tour this 2024 which will begin with two shows at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.

The group will then visit major cities across the United States, Canada, and more like Sacramento, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Berlin, Barcelona, and many more.

They will also perform at festivals such as the Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Spain, NOS Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley, California, and more. Some of their tour dates have been rescheduled from 2022.

The band will wrap up their series of concerts at the Giants Stadium in Sydney, Australia, on November 21, 2024.
