Matthew Koma, the spouse of Hilary Duff, made the decision to add some humor to his Valentine's Day tribute post on Wednesday. It prompted Duff to say he's seriously ill, but fans are totally enamored by his gesture.
The 36-year-old DJ complimented her ex-boyfriends for their "fearlessness" after sharing a carousel of images showing his wife, 36, being "saved" by them while swimming.
Hilary, who is expecting their third child right now, was seen in the photos with a number of men from her past when they were at the beach and in the water.
Duff wrote, "You are truly ill," in response to the Valentine's tribute, not seeming too thrilled about it. But Matthew replied even jokingly, saying he's glad she survived. Fans got sucked into this exchange and loved it.

With a photo of Hilary and himself during their 2017 trip to Costa Rica, Koma launched the carousel of photos.
He was seen holding her up in the ocean in the shot.
Hilary was spotted in the subsequent photo strolling with celebrity fitness instructor Jason Walsh, the creator of Rise Nation, who she dated for a period of five months in 2016.
Two photos of her on the beach with her ex-boyfriend Ely Sandvik, whom she dated throughout the summer of 2017 while she and Koma were taking a break, were also supplied by him. Then he included a picture of a model cuddling up to her on the beach from Duff's "Chasing the Sun" music video.
In addition, there was a picture of her being saved in the water from the film Greta. Notably, Koma omitted a picture of her 43-year-old ex-husband, Mike Comrie. Between 2010 and 2016, Duff was wed to the hockey player, with whom he has an 11-year-old kid named Luca Cruz.
Some of Koma's followers seemed to find the message humorous; one commented, "Matthew, you're insane, and it's amazing."
Another person questioned, "Is it just me that thinks this is a wild post?"
"This is insane." I really like it,' said a second person..
Hilary, meanwhile, posted a more conventional Valentine's Day image to her Instagram. She said, "I love you Matthew," beside several adorable photos of herself and Koma.
She can be seen grinning at the camera and snuggling back into Koma's arms in the first shot.
The actress and Koma, whom she wed in December 2019, are parents to two-year-old Mae and five-year-old Banks.
Midway through December, Duff shared a family photo with Koma and all of her children, revealing her growing pregnant bulge and announcing the impending arrival of her fourth child.
