Southern Ground Music & Food Festival Final Line-Up Announced

The final line-up has been announced for the Charleston Southern Ground Festival, to be held on October 11 and 12th in Charleston, South Carolina.

Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin, the "food face" for Zac Brown Band, hand picked four of the finest chefs in the U.S. to help him serve up southern gourmet food to die for.

This year, Chef RJ Cooper will be making his fourth consecutive appearance. The man behind Rogue24 and Gypsy Soul in the Washington, DC, area is a James Beard Award-winning chef.

Executive Chef Patrick Owens, a Charleston native, has seen his Langdon's Restaurant + Wine Bar earn AAA's Four Diamond award every year since opening.

Executive Chef Ken Vedrinski is the owner and sommelier of Trattoria Lucca, which was named one of the Best Italian Restaurants in the U.S. by Travel & Leisure magazine and Coda del Pesce in Charleston, South Carolina.

Pastry chef Kelly Kleisner of the Indigo Road Group is the lady whose delectable desserts can be found in both The Macintosh and Oak Steakhouse. Before taking her talents to Indigo, Kleisner worked at The Ocean Room at the Sanctuary Hotel on Kiawah Island, SC., Fat Hen and Lady Fingers Bakery. In 2009, she opened her own place - Mirabelle Bakery - where she creates sophisticated wedding cakes, scrumptious cheesecakes and other dessert delights.

Of course, Chef Hamlin will be manning Zac Brown Band's mobile kitchen Cookie, which will offer his Jambalaya and the legendary Chocolate Peanut Butter Biscuit Pudding.

The music, just as amazing as the food, will come from Zac Brown Band nightly and plenty of talented special guests.
