Cameron Diaz on Their Daughter, Parenting

According to People magazine, Madden and Diaz welcomed their first child, Raddix, in December 2019.

Since becoming a parent, the Charlie's Angels star admitted that several things have changed in her life, and she has more appreciation for her parents.

"It's totally opened up. I'm excited. I've got 50 or 60 years to go -- I want to live to be 110, since I've got a young child. I think you have this amazing moment in your 40s where you appreciate who your parents are, and I want to have that moment with her -- be there with her in her 40s," Cameron shared.

Meanwhile, when talking about the Good Charlotte co-founder, the actress explained that Madden has two distinct personalities: the rocker and the father.

"He's like, Benj at home, being the best dad ever," she added.

Benji Madden, Cameron Diaz's Relationship Timeline

Madden and Diaz began dating over a decade ago, in May 2014; while Us Weekly notes that their relationship was "unexpected," they became "one of Hollywood's strongest couples."

By January 2015, the couple got married in Diaz's Beverly Hills home, and a year later, the actress gushed about her marriage during her appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"So, it's like this double-edged sword. But I'm just so grateful for it because I couldn't do it without my husband and I couldn't do it with anybody else except for him," she explained, noting that she learned and found a completely different side of her that did not exist before tying the knot.
