Taylor Swift's plans for a new music video have leaked from an unlikely source.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, whose teammate Travis Kelce is Swift's boyfriend, let it spill during a recent interview with TIME that Swift has been working on a new music video in her downtime.

"She's never not working," he tells the outlet after being named one of their 100 most influential people. "Even when she's taking her downtime, she's working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks. Even when she's talking about football, when she's learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together."

The rumor of a new music video comes as Swift is gearing up to release her new studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. While the album drops this Friday, April 19, no plans for a spotlight single or music video have been announced, which is unusual for a Swift project.

Even when she releases a new record without a lead single, Swift typically has a music video ready for release night. After not releasing a song prior to Midnights' release, Swift dropped the "Anti-Hero" visual along with the album. The same was done for Folklore's "cardigan" and Evermore's "Willow."

Starting with "The Man" off of Lover, Swift has recently been the sole director of all of her music videos, including the "All Too Well (10-Minute Version)" short film. The only exception in recent years has been when Swift invited Blake Lively to helm the visual for "I Bet You Think About Me" off of Red (Taylor's Version).

Swift told Variety in 2022 that recent recent role as music video director "actually came out of necessity."

"I was writing my videos for years, and I had a video that was a very specific concept I had written [2019's 'The Man'], which was that I wanted to be prosthetically turned into a man and live my life as a man. And I wanted a female director to direct it," she said. "And the few that I reached out to were fortunately booked. We like it when women work. So I was like, 'I could do it, maybe.' And when I did direct, I just thought, 'This is actually more fulfilling than I ever could have imagined.'"

The upcoming album features collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + the Machine. Buzzy song titles like "So Long, London," "But Daddy I Love Him," "Down Bad," and "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" garnering Swiftie excitement.

Details on what to expect from the upcoming LP have been sparse, but Swift has been slowly trickling out lyrics through social media, including "Even statues crumble if they're made to wait," "All's fair in love and poetry," "I wish I could un-call how we almost had it all," and "Crowd goes wild at her fingertips. Half moonshine, full eclipse."

Aside from her work ethic, Mahomes went on to praise Swift for her casual tone among friends, stating that she is one of the most sensible celebrities he has met.

"I've met a lot of famous people now in my life...Taylor's probably the most down-to-earth person that's been on that stage for that long," he continued.

Several months into her new relationship with Chiefs tight end Kelce, Swift has become a frequent spectator at the team's games. Mahomes joked that the multi-hyphenate may try to jump on the sidelines next.

"It's almost like she's trying to become a coach. 'Why can't you try this, this, and this?' She's asking the right questions."

Swift's attendance at the games shed a global spotlight on the Super Bowl-winning team. Mahomes seems to be taking the newfound pressure like a champ.

"We just embraced it...We like having that visibility. At the end of the day, football has always been this bruising sport. We want to make it fun, where kids grow up and play football and show their personality and be who they are. This year really magnified that."
