In a recent interview with Hit The Floor, as part of their HTF Firsts! series, Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix revealed that his first kiss came from none other than his uncle, and surprisingly, it didn't turn out so well.
"My first kiss was when my uncle kissed me, and he gave me herpes," Shaddix reveals. "It's terrible." It looks like Shaddix knows all too well that herpes, like scars, remind us that the past is real.
Shaddix's uncle isn't the only family member that the singer has had an unfortunate interaction with. Earlier in the interview, he reveals that the first thing he ever stole was a stick of gum from his father's grocery store, and the first person he ever punched was his own brother. He also discusses the first time Papa Roach sold out a show, so it's not all bad memories.

Papa Roach's most recent album The Connection was released in Oct. 2012. The band's next album, F.E.A.R. (Face Everything And Rise) is set for release some time in 2015, and will be their eighth overall.
