Justin Timberlake is building buzz for his new album "The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2," although he probably doesn't have to. Part one sold around 968,000 copies when it dropped during March, and Part two will probably find a similar market. Still, the pop star stirred the waters with a letter to fans posted on his website, along with a brief two-minute teaser video showing footage of the recording sessions involved.

"The last time I wrote you an open letter, it was in January and I promised that it would be a "Big 2013." Since then, from The Grammys to the release of the first part of The 20/20 Experience to the crowd's response at the VMAs, it's been a wild ride. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have," he wrote. "On Sept 30th, the second half of The 20/20 Experience, "The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2", comes out. Since all these songs were written together over a year ago, it's been so hard to wait this long to release them. I can't wait for all of you to hear The 20/20 Experience in full."

The video shows Timberlake and company working to, as Timberlake describes it, record 20 songs in 20 days (there are a total of 25 original songs between the two albums). The video doesn't do much to reveal anything new to viewers, as the soundtrack is simply the long-since released single "Take Back The Night." As both "20/20 Experiences" were recorded during the same sessions, it's hard to believe that Part two will diverge music from the soulful style of Part one, unless in mood. Producer Timbaland suggests otherwise however.

"People will not see this coming," he said. "It will come like a thief in the night...surprise!"

Timberlake upped the publicity game on Sunday, performing with his former N'Sync crew and taking home the VMA for Best Video, which he won for the song "Mirrors."
