When Jon Gosselin falls from stability, apparently everything in his life goes with him. We told you yesterday that Gosselin was recently evicted from his home in rural Pennsylvania because he had been four months behind on the rent and was writing bad checks. Now we are hearing that his former landlady Linda Eways claims that not only did Gosselin leave the house a mess, but he also left an abandoned kitten belonging to his ex, Liz Janetta, with whom he was on Couples Therapy.
Eways went to the home to take back her property and, according to Gawker, what she found was horrific.
"I showed up to take a look at the house after Jon was supposed to have been entirely moved out, and what I found completely shocked and infuriated me. Garbage and other debris were scattered throughout the house, while white walls and doors inside bore damage from Jon's dog.
"I was so frustrated by the entire situation that I had to leave and give him one more day to entirely move. Jon never came up with the money and was squatting in our home for four months. It's a shame because we offered to make his payment plan as easy as possible. He would always laugh off any help and tell us that he had plenty of money and didn't need a mortgage because he could have easily paid for the house in cash."
In recent months Gosselin has lost his job at a local restaurant because he began blowing off shifts, Janetta walked out on him, ending their relationship after even a stint on VH1's Couples Therapy could not save them, and now he has lost his home. While Gosselin supposedly has new digs in the same neighborhood already, he does not have enough room to accommodate his eight children for visitation.
As for the poor kitten left behind, Eways said the situation broke her heart enough to decide to adopt her.
