Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. keeps building the hype for his upcoming album Cadillactica with the release of a new song titled “Soul Food,” featuring R&B star Raphael Saadiq. The track features one of the best beats of the year — the drums are unfussy and actually hit hard, instead of just skitter frantically across the surface — allowing K.R.I.T. to deliver some great verses and Saadiq to nail the beautiful vocal hook.

“Soul Food” is the third song to be shared from Big K.R.I.T.’s upcoming album Cadillactica, following the title track and the single “Pay Attention” featuring Rico Love. The album is set for release Nov. 11 through Def Jam Records and will be K.R.I.T.’s second studio album, his first since 2012’s Live from the Underground.

It will also be K.R.I.T.’s first full-length release since his 2013 mixtape King Remembered in Time.
