Ed Sheeran experimented a bit with rapping on his new album x, and he's continuing to spit his lyrics instead of singing them in a new song with hip-hop artist Hoodie Allen. Today (Nov. 3), the "Don't" singer teamed up with Allen to release a new music video for "All About It," featuring plenty of rapping, superhero costumes and a sung hook... from Allen.

"All About It," which appears on Allen's self-released debut album People Keep Talking, features a round of horns, heavy drums and a pounding piano that actually sounds quite reminiscent of Sheeran's own album x.

Though some have scoffed at Sheeran's skills, he finds himself a competent enough rapper to stand next to Allen, a far more regular emcee. However, even Sheeran will admit his own shortcomings in his lyricism. "I'm not a rapper, just a singer with a game plan / I play guitar don't need to worry about my Drake hand / 80,000 people in front of the stage, damn / Waiting for the sun to shine just to rock these Ray-Bans," Sheeran sings/raps in the first verse with impressive sense of flow.

The music video itself is rather nonsensical, though it fits with the casual and fun nature of the song. Sheeran and Allen can be seen rocking superhero outfits (that represent their most recent albums), setting off rockets in a field while dressed like an astronaut of sorts and plenty of breakdancing.
