One of the most heavily anticipated dance music albums of the year just got another piece of bad news. Knife Party's long awaited and much discusses debut album, Abandon Ship will now be delayed again with a new scheduled release date of Nov. 24.

Two former members of the famed drum n bass collective Pendulum, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen have exploded onto the mainstream dance conscious ever since their debut EP 100% No Modern Talking in late 2011, that featured the single "Internet Friends" that still seems get airplay from other DJs. They collaborated with Swedish House Mafia on the electro-big room crossover single "Antidote". The duo's music always shakes things up creatively as they find a way to elevate the standard for big, arena driven electro house, while focusing on the minute details of a track.

The duo are known perfectionists who have delayed releases as noted by Lessthan3, in the past and buried tracks that they didn't feel were good enough for release. But now that the album is right around the corner, fans can hardly wait to hear the material that they have been teased with for so long.

Three singles, 'Resistance", "Boss Mode" and "Begin Again" have already been released as part of the buildup to the album release. Each with their own style and sound, showcase how diverse an album this could be.

According to the press release, the next few weeks will be quite busy for the duo as the promo the finished album. It reads, "Firstly a selection of tracks will be unveiled as part of Zane Lowe's Album Of The Week feature on November 10th, this will be accompanied by an exclusive interview with the usually elusive Rob Swire. On November 17th, a full week prior to the official release, fans will for the first time be able to hear the album in full on Thump. Then on the eve of the album's release on November 23rd, Knife Party will be hosting an album launch party" through online streaming platform Mixify.

So make sure you get your copy of the album ,and tune into all things Knife Party over the next few weeks because the album will be coming your way very soon.
