Bloomington, Indiana indie rock band Murder By Death have announced the release of their seventh studio album Big Dark Love, which will be availble on February 3 through Bloodshot Records, reports Consequence of Sound. The album will be the band's first since 2012's Bitter Drink, Bitter Moon.
Like their last album, the release of Big Dark Love is being funded through Kickstarter. Pre-orders are available right now through the band's Kickstarter campaign page, with gifts that include a seven-inch, special vinyl pressings, and T-shirts.
In addition to the album, Murder By Death has also announced a pretty extensive US tour, which kicks off on December 30 in Denver and finished on May 31 in Chicago. Joining them on tour at various points are Lucero, Rocky Votolato, and O'Death. The complete tour schedule is listed below.
